Terms of service

By creating an account or using ledgerbatch.com (the “service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What the service does
The service extracts transactions from supported digital-PDF bank statements, lets you review and correct them, and produces CSV and report exports. Supported statement layouts are limited. The service does not connect to banks and does not move money.
2. Not accounting, tax, or legal advice
Exports are working data, not a verified accounting record. You are responsible for checking every row and every total before relying on an export, and for keeping your own copies of records you must retain.
3. Your responsibilities
- Only upload statements you are authorised to process, and only personal data you may lawfully handle.
- Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Do not attempt to access other accounts, overload the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account is compromised.
4. Accounts and availability
Accounts require a valid email address that you verify. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service or break these terms. The service is provided on a best-effort basis; it may be unavailable during maintenance and has no uptime guarantee.
5. Data and retention
How data is stored and deleted is described in the privacy policy. Inactive jobs are deleted after 90 days. You can delete jobs or your account at any time; deletion is permanent once backups rotate out.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature survive termination (for example liability limits) remain in effect.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are subject to the courts there, without affecting mandatory consumer protections you may have.
9. Refunds
Refunds are described in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
